The East dump truck has versatile sizes with body lengths from 10 to 22 feet (in 6-inch increments) and sidewalls from 24 to 60 inches offer configurations for every hauling requirement. Standard Features
Built with ¼-inch-thick 3×5-inch seamless tubing, Custom Hoist’s hoist mount provides extra rigidity and reduces cracking over time.
Uniquely engineered for longer life, the dump hinge shoe is crafted from hardened ductile steel, with twin grease valleys machined inside for complete 360º lube around the pin.
Constructed of 3/16-inch (optional 1/4-inch) 500 TUF steel, the tailgate is available as high lift or overslung. An optional sloped tailgate available. A coal single or double coal door is an option. A Genesis® smooth sided aluminum tailgate is an option to reduce weight.
The steel is carefully prepared, primed and coated with a baked-on paint, producing a durable, attractive finish that resists corrosion.
Truck-Lite LED lighting and harness.
To guard against corrosion, the harness has been designed as a closed system by integrating a molded plug with two sealing surfaces rather than just one.
Optional Features
Bolt-on apron is available in 8-, 10-, 12- and 14-inch depths.
Manual or automatic PTO’s are available.
East coal/grain doors are equipped with UHMW plastic bearings and grease fittings at the pivot point, providing smooth, easy operation and low maintenance. For precise flow control, the door locks over center with the ability to lock at various positions.
Fender overlays are available in aluminum diamond plate.
Strobes are available on the bulkhead and rear posts to illuminate the truck for safety.
An actuator handle located at the bottom rear of the body enables you to convert the tailgate from side swing-to-top swing and vice versa. The latch that engages and releases the top pin is hidden and protected inside the rear post.
The Side Swing Tailgate Guide Ramp Roller prevents top pin misalignment by guiding the gate and top pin back into position during closing, making the gate much easier and faster to close.
The high lift tailgate is designed to lift the tailgate up and away from the rear of the trailer to assist in loading larger materials.
Engineered for durability and enhanced performance, East offers a Hendrickson standard lift axle system developed for varying load operations: 10K, 13K and 20K, steerable and non-steerable.
Ultra ONE® 22.5″ x 8.25″ aluminum wheel is standard. At just 39 pounds, the wheel is the lightest in its class and strong enough for demanding applications.
Adjustable height 1/2-inch plate would be welded to the truck rear to accommodate the pintle hook.
Most brands and configurations of tarps and liners are available.
