East Trailers Shop Forklift Drivers are skilled and safety-focused team members responsible for efficiently handling large and often delicate trailer components. They are trained to operate a variety of heavy-duty forklifts and material handling equipment across our busy manufacturing and assembly areas. Their main duties include moving raw materials like aluminum beams, positioning trailer parts for welding or assembly and staging finished components for final inspection and shipping.

Given the size and value of the products, East Trailers forklift drivers must be precise and patient. They frequently work closely with welders, assemblers and supervisors to ensure production flow stays smooth and safe. A deep understanding of load balance, equipment capacity and workplace safety regulations (like OSHA standards) is crucial.

Most East forklift drivers bring a strong awareness of surroundings and understanding from years of experience both in factory and current positions. They are certified operators who take pride in keeping East’s production floor efficient, organized and accident-free. Their work is critical to maintaining East’s reputation for quality and on-time delivery.
